Bah Humbug Easter!

I was over at Domestic Daze's Place and she was rabbiting on about Easter and the Relos and it brought to mind a couple of quick rabbit related stories.

Bah Humbug Easter, I say.

At one time I managed hotels.

At Easter I would always put Rabbit on the menu. Roast Rabbit, Rabbit Pie and Rabbit Stew.

At another time Roger Rabbit was the movie de jour. So I put Rabbit on the menu and put on the sign outside:

Who Killed Roger Rabbit?

We don't know but today's special is:

Rabbit Pie

Anyway Easter has been cancelled. This photo expalins why.

Stay good and be kind to each other.

Awwwwwww poor bunny!!! I dont like Easter or Christmas, or any of the commercialised holidays,, but having kids, I have to at least remember the holidays as they appear.

I dont want to join the rest of humanity in making huge profits for greedy businesses, but the parent in me makes me ignore my feeelings and give eggs to the kids.. grrr lol

Easter is a pretty crap holiday all told. The weather is almost always rubbish and there's two whole days where everything is shut. Now that Easter eggs and hot cross buns are available in supermarkets from the day after New Years right through to May, what exactly is the point?

Funny photo, bunnies would be so much nicer if they weren't so much of a pest.

Now I like rabbits-preferably fried, with onion and mushroom gravy. Mmmmm! Easter dinner! (Homer drool).
